Events

NAEM’s TECH25 conference will be co-located with NAEM’s OPEX25 conference. The OPEX25 conference will run April 1-2, 2025 and the TECH25 conference will run April 2-3, 2025. Attendees from both events will attend the conference on April 2, 2025.


Submissions

Deadline: 12/20/24

Please submit your sponsored ideas via the abstract form below no later than Friday, December 20, 2024. Sponsorships will be approved on a rolling basis until they sell out. All speakers must be in person. All session times include welcome remarks and Q&A. All times listed are preliminary until the program is finalized. Once approved you'll be asked to pay a deposit by 12/31/24 and sign NAEM's Terms & Agreement for the event. If you plan to apply for more than one session, please submit a form for each session. Presenter Categories & Requirements

Tech25 75-Minute Workshop (2 available)
Date: April 3, 2025 · Time: 9:00 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.

This is an opportunity to develop a 75-minute workshop intensive that takes an in-depth look at how to address technology and data challenges. We are proposing the three topics below but are open to other ideas too, if you’d like to submit your own:

Topic 1: Developing Your Digital Roadmap for EHS and ESG Success

Topic 2: GHG Data Management Bootcamp

Topic 3: Data Analytics and Dashboarding Tools For Reporting

These sessions can be lead by subject matter experts from your company and are not required to include in-house EHS&S professionals as speakers. These two workshops will run concurrently at the same time on April 3, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. Attendees from the Tech conference only (not OPEX) will be able to join these workshops.

TECH25/OPEX25 60-minute case study Session
Date: April 2, 2025 · Time: 60 minutes
NAEM will assign time based on how it flows best with the program.

This is an opportunity to put on a 60-minute Software and Technology Case Study for technology providers and their customers to demonstrate a tool in use and discuss the benefits and outcomes. In-house EHS&S professionals (clients) are required. These sessions will be available for TECH & OPEX registrants to attend. These sessions will run concurrently at the same time as two other sponsored breakout sessions.

These session ideas must fall into one of the following categories:

  • EHS Management and Compliance

Topic: Leveraging Organizational Design, Data and Metrics to Drive Transformation

This is an opportunity to be one of three subject matter expert speakers on the Opening Keynote panel at TECH/OPEX. This panel will run at the beginning of the day for both TECH & OPEX attendees. NAEM will find the other two in-house EHS&S speakers for the panel though we welcome client ideas.

Topic: Managing Global EHS in Today’s Shifting Regulatory Environment

This is an opportunity to be one of the OPEX keynote speakers on a panel discussion around the topic of “Managing Global EHS in Today’s Shifting Regulatory Environment.” NAEM will find the rest of the speakers for the panel. The keynote session will be 60 minutes including welcome remarks and Q&A. This will be the opening session of the day for OPEX attendees and not run up against any other programming so all OPEX attendees will be able to attend.

Topic: Evolving Your Safety Strategy to Address High Frequency and High Severity Events

This is an opportunity to be one speaker on a panel discussion on the topic, “Evolving Your Safety Strategy to Address High Frequency and High Severity Events.” NAEM will find the rest of the speakers for the panel. This session will be the closing session of the day and run for 60 minutes including welcome remarks and Q&A. It will not run up against any other programming so all OPEX conference attendees will be able to attend this session.
